Poetry evening, Sunday 9-6-2024
Napata Restaurant, in cooperation with the Nest Holland Foundation, will host the Sudanese poet Moneim Rahma in a poetry evening on Sunday, June 9, 2024, in which the poet will provide poetry readings, including musical interludes performed by the artist and musician Diaa El-Din Mirghani and the artist Hossam.

Opening of the Kandaka Amani Renas Hall
Napata Restaurant held a charity event on March 9, 2024, on the occasion of the opening of the Kandaka Amani Renas Hall, which was recently added to the restaurant. The restaurant donated all of the concert's income from tickets, in addition to the value of a drink with each ticket, to kidney failure patients at Al Dala'in Hospital in East Darfur. Six artists and musicians from the Netherlands, Belgium and France participated in the concert: Artist and musician Shehab Sharhabeel Ahmed, Artist Moataz Ibrahim, Artist Mortada Holland, Artist Vincent de Vries, Artist Muhammad Abdel Rahman, Music: Ayman Serqly
A cultural and artistic evening entitled Food Culture in Sudan
On March 31, 2024, Napata Restaurant and
the Nest Holland Foundation organized a cultural and artistic evening entitled
Food Culture in Sudan. Mr. Imad Babiker, former director of catering services
at Sudan Airlines (Sudanair), spoke about food belts in Sudan. The artist and
musician Abu Dhar also spoke about the role of art in food culture in Sudan and
presented a number of songs and praises. A number of attendees also
participated with interventions that influenced the discussion and added great
value to the topic.
Napata Restaurant celebrated Eid al-Fitr with Sudanese asylum seekers
Napata Restaurant celebrated with Sudanese asylum seekers and some other nationalities on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr on April 13, 2024, by organizing a dinner with music and singing by the artist Hossam.
launching of the book “Jabel El Nar” “Mountain of Fire”
On May 18, 2024, Napata Restaurant and Nest Holland organized a to launch the book “Jabel El Nar” “Mountain of Fire”program by the Sudanese writer Isam Eldin al-Sadiq, who lives in Germany. The ceremony was attended by a large number of Sudanese writers and journalists and some interested people from the Netherlands and European countries. A number of copies of the book were sold at the event, and there are a number of copies for sale so far at Napata Restaurant.
Charitable initiative to support civilian war victims in El Fasher
On May 26, 2024, Napata Restaurant hosted
the charitable initiative to support civilian war victims in the city of El
Fasher, North Darfur State, which was launched by Mr. Abu Al-Qasim Othman and
the Darfur Union in the Netherlands. The initiative was a dinner attended by
about 120 people. Participants made financial donations that were transferred
to those affected.
Fundraising event - Sing for sudan
A charitable activity to support the victims of the war in Sudan. We offered a falafel box worth five euros for ten euros. Where all the cost + profit amount was sent to the beneficiaries via the emergency Committees in three states in Darfur region in Sudan (East Darfur, South Darfur and West Darfur). It was implemented by Napata Restaurant in cooperation with the Sing for Sudan program on June 26, 2023
